The point is that I didn’t need to be told off in order to learn from my mistake .
As a teenager I was once helping my mother preparing a family meal . My mother was actually cooking the meal and I was as a teenager trying to put my contribution in it . I got the frozen peas out for her . For some reasons I cannot justify , I held the peas up by the top corner of the packet , and used the scissors to cut off the corner , just below the level of my finger and the thumb . Predictably the whole packet hit the ground and frozen peas rocketed across the floor. Horrified , I looked at my ama who was already under pressure trying to crave the meat , stop burning and cook the 🥦 vegetables , waiting for the inevitable but instead my mother was doubled up with laughters. And you know what i have never made that mistake since . The point is that I didn’t need to be told off in order to learn from my mistake . It was a complete accident however stupid . Many of us do some stupid mistakes in our life but it’s not the end the thing being is to lighten up and when we lighten it up we will all have more fun and a strong relationship with our friends and family .
